This patient presented to us a few years ago with what he felt was a 'trapped jaw' that seemed to result from his previous braces treatment when he was an adolescent. He always felt his teeth were wearing because his teeth were pulled too far backward. We suggested retreating him orthodontically to make room for more normal sized teeth and then we restored  him with a combination of porcelain veneers and crowns and a few gold onlays afterwards to give him the youthful (AND FUNCTIONAL!) smile he deserves. He was probably one of the most intelligent and HELPFUL patients we've ever had the privilege of treating!  He is SO appreciative of what we did!
