What is “Optimum Care?”

With the continual changing healthcare environment and the advent of the third parties involvement in treatment decisions, supposedly reserved for the treating healthcare providers, there seems to be a migration away from what most people desire, and that is individualized complete care.

After witnessing the changes that have occurred over the past 20 years in dentistry, it’s evident that the split between the two basic types of care has affected everyone to varying degrees. clients who ask for their dental insurance to provide 100% of the costs of their care don’t always receive everything they may need. In fact it actually denies them of several things, most of which they don’t know exist. The dental insurance companies even admit to leaning towards providing the benefits that they call “the cheapest alternative.” Is that really what you want?

The most important part of what is missed in this type of situation is what is called “optimum care.” This comprehensive approach to client care takes into consideration the whole client, and more importantly, the prevention of future problems.
Dentists who treat clients with this comprehensive approach, don’t just “drill, fill and bill” their clients. They look at the client as a person, and not just a “tooth” or a number.

It was apparent to our practice as we have been solicited over the years by companies interested in incorporating us into their “provider network” with the promise of “many” clients. Our existing clients have noticed that we don’t treat “many” clients. We could not possibly provide the type of treatment that our clients enjoy if we had too “many” clients.

“Enjoy”? YES! We constantly receive referrals from happy, satisfied clients who notice that we are pleasantly different from the norm.

  • Have you ever wondered about how individualized your care can be when there are several other clients with you in the “waiting room?”
  • Does your doctor or dentist really know you and what you want?

It used to be a good feeling to have a lot of clients it the “waiting room.” Now it feels much better to have fewer clients in our “reception area,” who want more from their dentist than “just a filling,” or “just a cleaning.”

We are a “fee-for-service” practice. We provide complete care including ORTHODONTICS (braces). If we don’t feel comfortable providing the type of treatment you may need, we work very closely with a team of specialists who can provide you with “Optimum Care.” (Would you want an electrician to work on your plumbing?)

We do not and will not let anything get in the way of total client care, and what YOU desire. We are happy to help you with your insurance benefits, but it should not be the dictator of your personalized care. To accept insurance benefits as full payment is impossible while providing “Optimum Care.”

Your treatment and the preservation of your mouth come absolutely first, without any compromise on our part. Your smile can be anything you want it to be, thanks to what exists today in dentistry. We’ve also noticed that clients who we’ve previously treated with long range goals in mind, don’t continue needing additional treatment other than normal maintenance. (Are you having your dental work “done over” more frequently than you should?) If it’s done correctly the first time, it may be the last time you need it treated!

  • Do you want to be able to talk to YOUR dentist and the other team members about what YOU want?
  • Do you want to really have your dentist and his auxiliaries know you and your needs?
  • Do you want to be able to smile without being embarrassed?

Call and apply today for a truly unique comfortable experience for your own “Optimum Care.”
