We're
serious about our mission of helping you attain and preserve your
oral health. For us, that means several things. First, we'll get
to know you and your mouth through questions, listening, discussion,
x-rays, and a comprehensive examination of your teeth, gums, supporting
bones, and bite. This process helps us identify existing problems
and potential concerns. Then, we'll simply outline a logical, individualized
treatment plan. Often, a key aspect of that treatment involves preventing
disease in the first place, the success of which includes specific
steps for you to follow at home. Other times it involves first restoring
health and strength to problem teeth, correcting functional concerns,
or arresting disease.
Whatever the case may be, we strive to provide all the necessary
services in a comfortable, pleasant environment. In fact, we hope
that you'll find your experience here to be so enjoyable that share
your enthusiasm with others who might benefit from our kind of care.
Preventive Care
First and foremost, our goal is to help you maintain strong, healthy
teeth and strong, healthy supporting tissue. We emphasize this because
these two factors are the foundation of comfortable, enjoyable oral
health and a lifelong, attractive smile. And fortunately, attaining
this goal is not complicated or mysterious. It simply involves establishing
good habits, choosing proper nutrition, and keeping up with regular
professional surveillance. So, we spend time explaining the destructive
capacity of your own normal oral bacteria and how to control it
on a daily basis. We'll teach you the latest information on what
works and what doesn't. And we'll recommend specific, individualized
strategies for keeping your oral health at its best. These strategies
include:
Cleaning/Hygiene
Regular Checkups
Preventive Re-Care Visits
Dental Sealants
One-on-One client Education
Nightguards for Bruxism & TMJ
Restorative Care
When it comes to correcting problems, our goal is to strengthen
and improve your smile so that it continues to look, feel and function
naturally. And while that may seem obvious, it's not easy. In fact,
given all the variables that affect the mouth's proper biomechanics,
precision restorative care is actually an art--requiring exceptional
vision, hands on experience, and dexterity. And that's exactly what
Dr. Voller provides whether you're in need of a few simple
fillings, orthodontics, crown and bridge work, or a complete bite
rehabilitation.

Tooth Colored Restorations
So you look in the mirror, and you see what you think are small little
brown stains on the tops of your back teeth. Well, with our laser
diagnostic device, called the 'Diagnodent,' we can easily distinguish
between what are stains, and what may actually be areas of decay UNDER the
enamel (outside) layer of your teeth! In this case pictured, the Diagnodent
helped us determine that these darker areas on these back teeth WERE
actually decayed areas that entered the teeth through the tiny grooves that
are on the top of everyone's teeth. We were able to remove these areas and
restore the defective areas with tooth colored resin restorations that not
only are life-like and very strong, but most importantly VERY conservative
because we found these before they became huge holes of decay. We were done
with this procedure in 20 minutes! If these teeth would have been sealed
before they ended up becoming decayed, and if the client would have been
warned of the dangers of sugared soft drinks, these would have never
happened. Notice how the teeth are restored back to their original form,
with all of the grooves designed into the new restoration. It is our
feeling, that the more naturally shaped and shaded the final restoration is,
the more ideal the outcome.
Gum Care
Gum disease is a stealthy, silent problem, shared by an estimated
80% of the population. That's why we're convinced that gum care
deserves extreme diligence and effective tools. Like our phase contrast
microscope a high-powered device that allows us to identify
and show you specific kinds of bacteria active in the mouth, allowing
us to assess individual risk levels and treat/monitor various degrees
of disease effectively.
